Key differences

Where Zaps and Salesforce differ

Both can run a field team. The difference is how much you assemble and configure before the first rep checks in.

  1. 01

Field work out of the box

In Zaps, check-in at the client, consented journeys, route planning and offline capture are part of the core app. On Salesforce they usually come from Field Service, Maps or partner apps, set up by an admin or a partner.

  2. 02

    Local invoicing and ERP

Zaps issues quotations and invoices with 15% VAT and ZATCA e-invoicing, or hands the documents to Odoo. With Salesforce, ZATCA and Odoo are typically handled by partner apps or the ERP itself.

  3. 03

    Arabic as a first language

Zaps is designed in Arabic and English from the first screen, right to left on web and mobile. Salesforce offers Arabic as a user language; your custom fields, layouts and templates are yours to translate.

  4. 04

Time to go live and how you pay

Zaps ships with a guided setup journey and three plans priced per user, from 39 SAR a month at launch. Salesforce rewards a longer implementation with almost unlimited flexibility, priced by edition with separate add-ons.

To be fair

Where Salesforce is strong

  • Deep customisation: custom objects, flows and code for almost any process
  • A very large ecosystem of partners, consultants and AppExchange apps
  • One platform across sales, service, marketing and commerce for global companies

Saudi Arabia and the Gulf

Why teams in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf choose Zaps

Zaps was built for sales teams that spend the day on the road in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and across the Gulf.

  • Built for the field

Check-in at the client, consented journeys, a route planner and an app that keeps working without signal are part of the product, not add-ons.

  • Arabic first, right to left

Every screen works in Arabic and English, in both directions, on the phone and the desk. Product names stay in Latin, digits stay Western.

  • ZATCA and Odoo

Quotations with 15% VAT, ZATCA e-invoicing tested against ZATCA's sandbox, and Odoo 16 to 18 kept in step or making the documents itself.

  • PDPL and KSA residency

Consents, data-subject requests, retention and a record of processing are built in. A KSA residency setting keeps AI with approved providers.

  • WhatsApp and calls, logged

Reps call and WhatsApp from their own phones. Zaps records the touchpoint and asks what it was about. It never reads WhatsApp.

  • AI that asks first

Ask Zaps plans the change and shows it as cards. Nothing is written until you confirm, and every change is audited.

  • Three plans, launch prices

Field or Growth per user, from 39 SAR a month at launch prices locked for your first year, with add-ons from 2 SAR and 14 days free. Scale, for ERP and custom work, by quote.

Questions

Can Zaps replace Salesforce for our field team?

If the team's day is visits, meetings, quotations and follow-ups in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf, Zaps covers it without add-ons. If you rely on custom Salesforce objects or other Salesforce clouds, keep them and compare carefully.

Does Zaps connect to Salesforce?

There is no ready-made Salesforce connector today. Zaps workflows can call a webhook, and companies and contacts import from CSV or Excel.

Can we bring our data over?

Yes. Companies and contacts import from CSV or Excel, up to 10,000 rows at a time, with duplicate checks and a preview before anything is created.

See your team's day, the way it happened.

A 30-minute walkthrough on your own process: visits, journeys, quotations and the inbox, in Arabic or English.
